Five employees, representing five areas of The Aspen Club, work to achieve their individual fitness goals through small group training twice per week, a regimented cardio routine and healthy eating. Alaina Dodds (Sports Medicine), Maggie Boustead (Front Desk), Erin Robinson (Marketing), Michelle Borg (Membership) and Heather VanDiepen (Fitness) will work for a month to achieve their goals through Living the Culture at The Aspen Club and taking advantage of all of the programming offered here. They will have one month to go from Flab Five to the Fab Five!

Alaina Dodds: I am a sports enthusiast who has always enjoyed working out, either in a gym or outside. My favorites include; hiking, running, TRX and boot camp. Even though I have exercised for my entire life I still think my fitness level could improve. My personal goal is to increase my overall level of fitness.

Maggie Boustead: I had always been naturally thin but once I hit my thirties I noticed the weight creeping on. I eat relatively healthy but clearly I need to step it up with diet and fitness! I enjoy sports such as rock climbing and hiking but it’s time for me to step out of my comfort zone. My goals are to improve my diet without feeling deprived and developing a strong cardio base as well as toning everything up! I look forward to the challenge and adopting some new habits!

- Erin Robinson: I have been fit and active my whole life but last winter had a series of knee injuries which held me back from my favorite activities. Through Physical Therapy, I have gained function back and now want to be stronger and better than I was before the injury.

Heather VanDiepen: I have been working a lot lately and focusing on my Pilates instruction and have sometimes neglected my own health. I cater often and sometimes just have a hard time saying no to all of the delicious food! My goal is to lose 5-6% of my body fat.

MIchelle Borg: Finding a healthy balance between work and play in Aspen can be a challenge and I haven’t always had an active lifestyle, so when it comes to achieving my fitness goals, I struggle with motivation. My goal is to not only gain an overall higher level of fitness but to also gain some knowledge of personal fitness so I can incorporate it in my daily routine.
